🛡️ Transparent Programs & Fair Practices

PortalForInterns.com supports three legitimate internship and industrial learning models: Paid Stipend Internships, Free Training Programs, and Paid Industrial Training / Skill Bootcamps. This policy establishes mandatory standards of fee transparency, authentic descriptions, and candidate protection.

1. Authorized Program Models & Fee Classifications

Every opportunity posted on PortalForInterns.com must be accurately classified into one of the following official program categories:

💰 Category A: Paid Stipend Internships

Stipend to Candidate

The hiring company engages the intern for productive project contributions and pays a monetary stipend (e.g. ₹5,000 to ₹40,000/month).

✓ Employer is legally bound to disburse the full promised stipend on time.
✓ Zero Fee Rule: Employers are strictly prohibited from charging any candidate fees for this category.

💼 Category B: Paid Industrial Training & Bootcamps

Training Fee Applicable

EdTech organizations, IT institutes, and specialized tech companies provide structured industry training, expert live mentorship, software lab access, guided projects, and placement assistance for a training fee (e.g. ₹2,999 to ₹15,000).

✓ 100% Upfront Fee Transparency: The full training fee must be openly displayed on the posting.
✓ Clear Curriculum: The provider must deliver genuine technical training, syllabus coverage, and a verifiable Certificate of Completion.

🎓 Category C: Free Training & Non-Stipend Internships

Zero Training Fee

Companies and NGOs provide practical exposure, mentorship, and experience letters to college students with zero fees and no monetary stipend.

✓ Absolutely zero training charges or hidden costs.
✓ Provides verified experience certificates upon successful completion.

2. Mandatory Fee Transparency & Prohibited Deceptions

To ensure complete honesty and protect students from deceptive recruitment practices:

✕ Bait-and-Switch Deception (Strictly Banned) Advertising a listing as "Paid Stipend" or "Free Training" and then demanding a fee from candidates during interview or selection.
✕ Application or Review Fees (Strictly Banned) Charging students money just to receive, review, or shortlist their application profile.
✕ Security or Laptop Deposits (Strictly Banned) Demanding mandatory cash or UPI security deposits for remote access or interview slots.
✕ False 100% Job Guarantees (Strictly Banned) Making unsubstantiated claims of unconditional guaranteed job placement without a binding corporate agreement.

3. Quality & Safety Standards for Providers

  • Verifiable Identity: Organizations posting paid training or internship opportunities must provide valid corporate details, registered domain websites, and active contact channels.
  • Structured Mentorship: Interns and trainees must receive dedicated guidance, practical tasks, and constructive review throughout the program duration.
  • Safe & Respectful Environment: All workplace environments (physical or virtual) must comply with POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) norms and maintain professional decorum.
  • Completion Certification: Every student completing the agreed program tenure is entitled to an official Certificate of Completion or Experience Letter.

4. Violations & Enforcement Actions

Organizations that fail to comply with these transparency rules or engage in misleading advertisements will face immediate disciplinary action:

  • Immediate Listing Removal: Instant takedown of misleading postings.
  • Account Suspension / Permanent Ban: Revocation of recruiter privileges and forfeiture of subscription fees or token balances without refund eligibility.
  • Cybercrime Reporting: Egregious financial fraud or extortion will be referred directly to law enforcement authorities via cybercrime.gov.in.
